Favorite verse:
Romans 12:1-2
(1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
(2) And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
My favorite quote:
"Constantly remember what your purpose in life is, not how much you can make, or how powerful you can become, but how you can better your life by serving the Lord. For when we truly know the Lord and put Him first, He provides the rest. Set your goals on heaven and keep reaching." Glen Alan Phillips, 1983

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
